From crafting the sauciest yet healthy cocktails, to dancing on tables singing Whitney Houston. It’s safe to say the “Sip and Sing” workshop was a huge success!

We started the night talking about how we can make the best choices when going out for drinks and what mixers you want to stay away from. It wasn’t too long until we got into our first cocktail of the night, the Turmeric Margarita. A healthy twist on the classic margarita made with freshly squeezed pineapple and turmeric juice and topped with a spicy chili rim.

After we finished our cocktails, we talked about hidden sugars and the effects it can have on the body. It led us into our next cocktail which was sugar free and sweetened with Ginger Beer made from stevia (a little goes a long way). This cocktail called “Aloe Dreams” I think was our fan favourite of the night. The aloe and cucumber cooled us down from the hot summer night we were having and Mixology could be a potential career path for me (humble brag)./li>

Wrapping up the night with our Komubucha Kiwi Mojito, we sat aroud the terrace playing giant jenga and polishing off our charcuterie boards. Little did we know though, the night was just beginning. After finally scrambling everyone together we made it to our Karaoke room and it was like all of us had been best friends for years. Whitney Housten, Shania Twain, Beyonce to Post Malone, we danced on the tables and sung our little hearts out.

We couldn’t have asked for a better night and a better group of people to share this amazing night together. I’m thinking it won’t be long until the next “Sip and Sing” comes along.
