Caliente Mamacita! These chickpeas are sure to spice up any dish! It’s a perfect guilt free snack to grab on the go or toss them into your next nourish bowl to give it that extra kick. What are you waiting for? ¡Arriba, arriba! ¡Ándale, ándale!

Prep Time – 5 minutes

Cook Time – 8-10 minutes

Servings – 3-4

Ingredients

1 can of Chickpeas
1 Lime ( zest and juice)
1 tsp Smoked Paprika Powder
½ tsp Chipotle Powder
Coconut Oil
Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain can of chickpeas into a strainer and rinse thoroughly
  2. On medium to high heat, melt the coconut oil in a pan, enough just to coat the chickpeas
     –
  3. Add the chickpeas in the pan and toss in the oil. Allow to fry until crispy on the outside tossing frequently.
  4. In a medium bowl, add the paprika, chipotle powder, salt and lime zest and mix all together.
  5. Add the chickpeas and toss in the mixture
  6. Squeeze fresh lime and serve (If not serving immediately, keep in an airtight container in the fridge)
