2019 was a TRIP.

Explored new places, made new friends and tried new things. One of these “new things” was following a strength training program, 3 days a week, for an entire year in STRONG ACADEMY.

Hooollaaayyy did a lot of shit happen on this journey… .

🦄 I learned to LOVE early morning workouts – get in, get out, get on with my life

🦄 I no longer trained through pain – sought treatment that was further enhanced by my coaches helping create custom programs, I’m well on my way to recovery

🦄 I stopped looking in the mirror – it’s not how you look, it’s how you feel and I feel STRONG

🦄 Any issues with food were gone – food is fuel and I needed fuel so I could pick up heavy shit

🦄 My self-confidence skyrocketed – I worked hard to get to where I am and I damn proud of it

🦄 I will never go back to classes or cardio again – it is no longer for me and I am happy to have found what works for me

🦄 Routine makes me a MUCH happier person – we learned about the importance of sleep and I now make waking up and going to bed at a consistent time a top priority

🦄 I am smarter – the growth my brain and my muscles have made this year is incredible and I owe 100% of it to the Strong Academy coaches and teammates
