The Self Love & Body Positivity workshop was an incredibly moving 2 hours filled with laughter, tears, hugs and smiles. Together as a group we created a safe space to share, be real, be vulnerable, be raw, to learn and to reflect. This is a very magical experience when 36 humans can come together, leave any judgement and negativity at the door, and sit together pondering and sharing what self love means to them.
In a world that is driven by social media and becoming increasingly superficial, it is easy to get caught up in a negative mindset and engage in negative self-talk. During the workshop we reflected on our inner dialogue with ourselves, because that is truly the first step to loving ourselves.
There are so many reasons to love your body, to a name a few that we touched on during the workshop:
Because it’s STRONG AF, both mentally and physically and it’s BEAUTIFUL. Every scar, wrinkle, freckle, birthmark, muscle, etc. tells part of our life stories.
We are now challenging you to come up with 5 additional reasons to love yourself and your body. Take a moment to reflect and think about all things you do, it can be as simple as always holding the door open for people and watching the smile it brings to their face knowing you are actively helping them.

Thank you for helping guide the conversation and clearly articulating emotions and thoughts that we all struggle to voice or even understand. Your calm and peaceful nature helped foster the welcoming and inclusive environment in the room.
