I never thought I’d be the kind of person who ACTUALLY enjoyed working out. Working out was a chore. I didn’t love doing it, but I also didn’t love my body so I sucked it up. You can see where the vicious cycle started, right? I was introduced to All Day Fit through one of my co-workers, who shared the same sentiments about working out as I did. Every day at work I heard her raving about her amazing trainer, Brooke, and I knew that’s when I needed to jump on the bandwagon. Fast forward to today, where I’ve had the pleasure of training with Brooke for over a year now! I’ve never felt more confident in myself, my body and its capabilities since joining All Day Fit. I now have a fresh new perspective on what it means to be athletic, strong, and happy.
After I graduated from Ryerson with a degree in Marketing, I wasn’t really sure of my next steps. All I knew was that I didn’t want a “boring job”. I found my calling working at a PR agency managing Fashion and Beauty brands. I thrived in this busy, fast-paced and exciting environment for a few years, until I found myself too comfortable and seeking new experiences.
The stars were aligned with All Day Fit as I was looking for a career change at the same time All Day Fit was looking for someone to spearhead their Social Media and PR Strategy! I may still be a new addition to the team, but I already think of this crew and its community as family.
The day-to-day of being the Social Media and PR gal is your phone glued to you and making sure to never forget an extra battery pack ;). But for real, no two days are the same! You can find me planning and creating content, knee deep in a strategy sesh with Cassie and Babs, or developing partnerships and influencer relations! I’m the girl behind the screen – come say hi on @alldayfitt.co!
Kettlebell swings! This move didn’t come easy to me at all (you can ask Brooke my trainer!) and it took months to nail down. Been swingin’ ever since!
