Summer in Toronto is H O T. I don’t know about you, but my body always craves cold and refreshing things to cool down. One of my favourite snacks is these Frozen Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana bites.

Prep Time – 5 minutes
Freeze Time – 3 Hours
Servings – 12 Bites
  • Bananas sliced into little chunks
  • Peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Coconut oil 
  • Optional: Sea Salt
  1. Put a handful or two of chocolate chips into a pot with 1 tbsp coconut oil. Heat on low and allow to melt, whisking constantly
  2. Put a dollop of peanut butter onto one side of your banana chunk 
  3. Place another banana chunk on top creating a banana sandwich 
  4. Put a spoonful of melted chocolate over your banana sandwich 
  5. Place on the parchment paper, tray
  6. Repeat with the remainder banana chunks
  7. Optional: Sprinkle the bites with sea salt
  8. Place in freezer for at least 3 hours 
  9. ENJOY 😋
