The Healthy Holiday Hacks – Baking Workshop lead by our holistic nutritionist Brooke Enchin was an amazing evening filled with holiday tunes, delicious treats and friendly faces.
Our first item on the baking agenda were healthy Ferrero Rochers – in groups we went through the 3 step process of making the mix, rolling in the hazelnuts and then of course the messiest part (and my fav step), rolling in the chocolate and putting on the finishing touches.
While our beautiful concoctions hardened in the freezer Brooke let us sample her delicious homemade eggnog and mulled wine…just a taste of what the All Day Fit crew will experience at next week’s Community Holiday Party!
The final project of the evening were Vegan Ginger Cookies and boy were these delicious, must have been the blackstrap molasses! We highly recommend making these for your loved ones over the holiday season.
A HUGE shout out to Brooke for creating the recipes, sharing them with all of us and leading a great workshop. And of course, a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone that attended, we had such a great evening and kick off to the holiday season.
