It’s time for a new granola recipe to fit in with the new season. I love eating seasonally, and with spring in the air I’m already starting to crave some cooler dishes. Yogurt and granola with fresh fruit is a perfect way to start your day and doesn’t have to be filled with sugar. I always make my own granola so I can assure that every ingredient is wholesome and good quality. You also get a bonus of filling your home with a beautiful aroma of orange, cinnamon goodness!

Prep Time – 8 minutes
Cook Time – 30 minutes
Servings – 4 cups
  • 4 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Chopped Almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Golden Raisins
  • Sea Salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, honey, coconut oil, almonds, orange zest, cinnamon and vanilla and mix with your hands until sticky and well blended. Press the granola mixture into the baking sheet into an even layer.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool completely, this is when the granola starts to harden. Add in the raisins and store in an air tight container.
