I’ve never had so many requests to post a recipe than I have with this sashimi bowl and boy, was I ever happy to recreate it! All you need are some fun ingredients to play with and some sushi grade salmon and this bowl can be made in little under than 15 minutes!

Servings – 4 

Ingredients

Salmon:

1 Fillet of Sushi Grade Salmon
1 1/2 Tbsp of Tamari (or Soy Sauce)
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tsp Rice Vinegar
Sprinkle of Chili Flakes
2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds

Dressing:

3 tbsp Flaxseed Oil
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
3 tsp Vinegar
2 tsp Tamari
1 tsp Raw Honey

Suggested Toppings:
Avocado, Nori, Tomato, Cucumber, Edamame, Sprouts, Seaweed Salad, Pickled Ginger, Sesame Seeds, Cabbage, Carrots, Purple Onion

Instructions

  1. Place the salmon skin side down and fillet the salmon with a sharp knife. Cut into cubes and place into bowl. Add in the tamari, sesame oil, rice vinegar, chili flakes and sesame seeds and stir until combined. Set aside.
  2. For the dressing, combine soy sauce, white vinegar, flaxseed oil, sesame oil and honey into a jar and whisk until combined.

  3. Assemble the salad with the ingredients suggested below and top with the salmon and drizzle with dressing. ENJOY!
